Finishing Strong: Dev Diary

Happy last Monday of two thousand and sixteen!

This week we're turning a page, and there's no better time to celebrate perseverance and finishing strong. In the photo above, you'll see the Coster brothers, some of the best game developers in the country. Over the last few years, the trio has been working in St. Louis and dedicated to TWO of life's hardest missions - fighting through cancer diagnosis of their middle brother Sam, and launching their game Crashlands to global heights.

Early in the game's development, Sam Coster (pictured middle) was diagnosed with cancer and forced to make life-changing decisions. He found strength in working alongside his brothers and beat the odds. In a big way. Not only did he and his family survive the cancer, but the brothers developed one of Time's Top 10 Video Games of 2016.

Our partners Forever an Astronaut (operators of the studio next door) were able to capture the quest of Crashlands. It's all been tied together in their new documentary series, "Dev Diary," which will be making a premiere at MAGFest in early January and released on Steam, Vimeo, VHX and Amazon January 21st.

We encourage you to pre-order, subscribe, and learn more about this story. The Coster brothers finished strong. Forever an Astronaut is finishing strong. How about you?
