Message from Luke Terrell: "Whatup TA I'll be back in town this week for a screening of my feature documentary Gabe at the Tivoli Theatre, as the closing night film of the St. Louis Filmmakers Showcase. Many of you saw a version of the film in April 2016, but we have made some changes and are excited to share this new cut. The screening will be at 7:30 on Thursday, July 20th, and advanced tickets are available here. There will be a short Q&A afterwards, and then we can all mosey over to Blue Hill for the festival awards and celebration. Word on the street is there will be free Kraftig beer. Let's clean em out! Hope to see some of your pretty faces there, and I'll certainly be stopping by TA at some point to spread some love.
We are excited to announce the second installment of our "Invisible Barriers" film series, featuring "Bob's Tour" by director Jun Bae. Originally from Tokyo, Jun made his way to St. Louis for college. On his revealing cinematic journey, he follows Bob Hansman - a professor from Washington University - as he takes his students on a bus tour of the Divided City of St. Louis, including the north county city of Ferguson.
Guests are invited to attend the screening and listen to a panel discussion afterwards, moderated by Jun Bae and featuring Bob Hansman, Jovan, and Aaron Williams. Enjoy complimentary refreshments and conversation surrounding the untold stories of our Divided City.
