Happy Monday that feels like Friday!

We're taking today off (hopefully you too) and wishing everyone a joyous Independence Day celebration. The one question we're thinking about is: "What does it mean to be American?" One word, what do you think?

From a few member conversations.... Lydia Seaman believes "earnest", and Ben Szanton "idealistic." We've heard other words such as "diverse" and some not-so-fun including "self-righteous" and "nonchalant."
