NOMAD Private Events Venue

This week we're excited to introduce NOMAD, our new private events venue for members and the community! Since opening TechArtista, we’ve accommodated diverse functions, including large-scale gallery openings, trunk shows, technology workshops, movie screenings and more. It's powerful to gather, and even better when there's an infrastructure to support it. 

With near-capacity professional space at TechArtista, we knew it was time to move third-party and larger events to a permanent home. When we learned the Improv Shop located around the corner was moving to a new location, we reached out to our partners Jim and Nicki Dwyer to determine if we could create an opportunity. 

Over the next few months, we'll be developing NOMAD -- adding art (a new Edo Rosenblith mural and other hanging installations are in the works), getting vendors comfortable with the environment, and hiring two summer interns from WashU and SLU to help build and manage. 

We hope to continue working closely with artists, event organizers, and a number of small businesses and local groups that need access to space as a resource. Let us know if you have an event coming up and we'd be happy to discuss rental. NOMAD can host up to 150 persons.
